Ok, so these are a bit different than my usual hunting items but I use these almost everyday when I walk my dogs. I can listen to music from my iPhone and even take a call if I have to. It makes the dog walks a lot more pleasant.

I bought one of these the other day for a couple of reason. The first is that even though I have AAA and Roadside Assistance through my insurance I do hunt in a lot of places that can take a while to get to and I thought these might keep me from being stranded for a longer period of time. 

The second is that it actually takes up less room in my travel box than the jumper cable did. Still hoping that I never have to use them. 

Wound Seal Stop Cuts From Bleeding

I bought a 4 pack of Wound Seal after seeing an ad for it and threw it into my first aid kit that I have for my dogs.  One evening I was cutting open a package and my knife slipped and I sliced my index finder pretty deep.  I tried just using pressure and a towel and it wouldn't stop bleeding.  I went out to my truck and grabbed that Wound Seal package.  I ended up pouring 2 of the small containers onto the cut and it stopped bleeding.

I ordered a pack of 4 kits each with 4 tubes of seal.  I put a couple in the kit that I carry into the woods, a pack in our home kit, and then refilled the kit I keep in the truck.  Hopefully I won't have to use it but it works well.

There isn't anything fancy about these dog bowls but they do hold up well and also roll up easily.

I use the orange ones so that I can find them in the grass after I've used them to water the dogs.

SOF Sole Insoles

I have had a really bad case of plantar fasciitis in the past.  It got so bad that I had to quit hunting for a period of time.  I tried a couple of different inserts for my hunting boots and came across the SOF Sole products.  These worked so well that I was able to return hunting.  I have replaced all of the insoles that came with my various hunting boots with these.  I use them in all of my footwear products, even my slippers.

I've been using these since this spring and really like them.

They use a heavier nylon material than most of the other brands that used to be in the market.  They also have larger areas of velcro for holding the protectors in place.
